Week 10: ROI Optimizing Ad Performance
This week I kind of lost some steam because I wasn't able to put the final tag into my site. I know where to inject the code and I have learned how to do it and why I should use it, but my site builder has restricted it because I don't pay for the premium subscription through Squarespace. At this point I do not want to spend any more money on the website hosting itself. I already paid for one year subscription to get a better rate and I do not feel good about spending any more right now. Bummer! This little hang up has helped me to learn that the next time I set up a site, I will do it differently. I think I will likely choose a different website hosting company. I like a lot of things about Squarespace, but this is something I don't like. That being said, I liked learning about the ability to track conversions by linking my Google Ads/Analytics account and my website. I have also learned that in hindsight I should probably have chosen a different business altogether. The business relies solely on me and my design skills and time to make any kind of a profit. I am busy with school and family life and running a business like this is not the right time for me. I am really glad I am learning the things that are being taught in this class so that I can make smarter choices in the future. I am committed to developing myself and my skillset to make better business choices.
