Week 13: Ranking, Link Building & Google Analytics
One of the results of taking this class is that I have
gotten in-depth, hands-on exposure to strategies for running a successful
online business. From analytics to keywords, and everything in between, my mind
has expanded to what efforts can really be made to improve online presence and
influence in a business. This week we learned some effective ways to
improve our site’s rank and link profile. This includes how we use
social media to point users to our site and influence choices. There are many natural ways that links
are created but I learned there is much we can do to optimize these links. Also, I
came to the realization that building a successful business online take
patience and perseverance! This week we also took a closer look at how to use Google Analytics
to make wise decisions in regards to who, what, when and where your
audience is making choices. I found it fascinating that there is so much data collected about
every click a person makes online. WooRank
is also a very useful site tool. It gives suggestions about how a site can be
improved. The learning this week was important and valuable!
